The exhibition of the medieval tower of Aliveri in the power generating plant of the Public Power Corporation (ΔΕΗ), unfolds it’s content from the ground floor to the third level following the three general thematic sections: a) tower, b) the history of the area and c) the PPC factory. The creation of a common aesthetic axis in dialogue with the monument, but also with the industrial space the monument is located at, required special research and cooperation with the liable operators. The visual material used in the exhibition, in addition to the texts, is mainly photographic from the archive of PPC for the sections of the factory and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Evia for the sections of archaeological documentation. The choice of colors and the layout of the graphic elements follow forms and lines from objects and premises of the factory as they have been captured by the rich and highly aesthetic photographic material of the PPC archive.
