The “Settlements of Mani” permanent exhibition, housed in the fortified complex of the Mourtzinoi-Troupakides, is located in Kardamyli town in the region of Messenia on the Mani peninsula. The exhibition aims to provide visitors, through appropriate signing, information about the traditional settlements of the broader Mani area, architecture, and local’s lifestyle from the Late Roman – Early Byzantine period till modern times. Photographs with colors derived from the natural landscape of Mani like the green in both sides of the olive tree leaf and the beige of rocks and stone, the main structural material of the settlements, is used as the main footage. The decorative patterns are based on the stone made coat of arms of local towers while the corporate identity of the network is inspired by “board” games carved on the stone seats called “rouges”.
