The Department of Cultural Technology and Communication (D.C.T.C.) has as its goal the cultivation and promotion of knowledge regarding culture and cultural heritage and the development of computer technologies for themes such as culture and cultural management. Its logo is an abstract approach of a “gateway” to the world of knowledge and specifically of computer science, technology, and culture. The three-dimensional gate provides the shape that corresponds to the Greek word for Cultural (Πολιτισμική) as well as the rest of the acronym’s letters in Greek (T.Π.Τ.Ε.).
