The Cartography and Geoinformatics Laboratory of the University of the Aegean’s Geography Department is involved in education and research in Geoinformatics application areas regarding natural, urban and environmental geography as well as applications of telescopy in the cartography of environmental phenomena. In its logo, the subject’s dynamic is projected through elliptical lines that resemble a globe’s borders and, at the same time, are shaped as the title’s initials (C.G.I).
